Where can you vote on Tuesday May 20th,
which is Election Day for the Special Election for Lowndes County
Commission District 5, for
the Lowndes County Board of Education,
and for the elections for judges?
Remember, they’re not in November: Tuesday May 20th
is the election for these races,
unless there’s a runoff.
Plus Tuesday is Primary Election Day for the Georgia
statehouse, statewide offices, and U.S. Congress.
You can find your polling place in
My Voter Page by the Georgia Secretary of State.
Or you can zoom and pan on the
VALOR GIS Election Boundary Map.
Turnout matters: elections are often won by a handful of votes.
After you find your polling place, please call your friends and neighbors
and help them find theirs.
For a longer list to call, contact Gretchen.
Both statewide and Lowndes County
nonbinding questions will be on the primary ballot May 20th,
so remember to turn out and vote in the primary.
Everyone in Lowndes County who takes a Democratic primary ballot can vote on these questions.
That’s the same date as the special election
for Lowndes County Commission District 5,
so be sure to vote for that, too, either
in your precinct on May 20th
(you can find your polling place online through Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page)
or at the Board of Elections in early voting April 28 – May 16.
