Health insurance should be for financial security,
including the 600,000 Georgians currently uninsured,
and the Affordable Care Act is helping make that happen,
said Liz Johnson at her general campaign
kickoff meeting in Valdosta.
Injuries, illness, old age, accidents, fire: insurance can help with
all of those.
25,000 veterans and 7,000 of their spouses would be covered by Medicaid expansion.
It also helps if there are local hospitals, but several rural
Georgia hospitals have closed recently.
We need a new insurance commissioner: Liz Johnson.
